bcb is a Spanish engineering and technological company, with presence in Spain and Mexico, specialized in thermographic monitoring systems, with multiple applications for the Industry, Science and Research.
We are experts in innovative solutions for industrial and scientific applications, integrating data acquisition systems, artificial vision, image processing, AI/ML and communications. We integrate into the client’s control system and contribute to its automation through these systems, with the possibility of creating solutions tailored to the client’s needs.
In addition, we are authorized distributors and integrators of FLIR thermal imaging cameras, with the aim of offering high value-added solutions using the most advanced cameras, adapted to the specific needs of each thermographic and visible monitoring application, from a personalized and global perspective for both industry and science.
We also actively participate in national and European R+D+i projects, as well as in Innovation projects carried out exclusively for our clients.
Some of our Achievements
CONTINUOUS INSPECTION OF SOLAR FIELDS
bcb has contributed to the thermosolar sector for more than 10 years, through the design and development of our own customized applications, with thermography, of heliostats´ calibration systems, based on artificial vision to capture, analyze and treat images of the projection of the solar discs.
MONITORING OF WELDING PROCESSES
Thermography has been used to monitor and control welds in real time. The portfolio of tools that integrates the bcbMonitor 4.0 makes it a valuable resource for the Automotive Industry, allowing the optimization of processes by continuous supervision through this software tailored to the application needs.
SME INSTRUMENT PHASE 2 BABY BEAT HORIZON 2020
Bcb, with its Baby Beat project (continuous and non-invasive fetal heartbeat measurement system), was one of the thirteen Spanish companies that were granted with a funding from the European Commission for the instrument for SMEs Phase 2, within H2020.
INSPECTION OF ELECTRONIC BOARDS, PCBS AND COMPONENTS
A 320 × 240 bolometric thermal imaging camera is enough to detect anomalies in electronic cards within a few seconds. An automated test execution is possible due to its integration with the bcbMonitor 4.0, using its advanced synchronization function with external elements (I2C, CAN, LIN).
THERMOGRAPHY FOR STEEL INDUSTRY / METALLURGY
The use of thermography is an imprescindible tool for Industry 4.0 for the inspection of refractory elementes, castings, slag levels, electrolytic baths and predictive maintenance, among other applications for the infrared thermography in the steel industry.
