The Chilean company and bcb, including its Mexican subsidiary, will agree to distribute monitoring systems integrating Teledyne FLIR Automation series thermal imaging cameras in Chile.
Both companies have announced the signing of a commercial collaboration agreement to develop thermographic monitoring systems in the Chilean market, integrating Teledyne FLIR thermal imaging cameras. Thanks to this alliance, bcb becomes an important technological partner for Colvin & CIA, which will allow them to offer innovative solutions for the entire Chilean industry and especially for the mining, steel, energy and food sectors.
Colvin & CIA is a Chilean company specialized in the commercialization of thermal imaging cameras and technological solutions for the industry. It has more than 40 years in the market and, in addition, they are the official representatives of Teledyne FLIR in Chile.

Javier Bezares, CEO of bcb, stated that “with this collaboration agreement we seek to strengthen the relationship between Spain and Chile in order to develop a joint commercial strategy for future projects. Both Colvin & CIA and bcbshare the same objectives and we are sure that we will achieve them”. Additionally, the businessman commented that “in Chile we were already working on the Cerro Dominador solar thermal plant, but this agreement will allow us to offer a greater number of innovative solutions in this country, as we did in Mexico 10 years ago.”
The first collaboration event between the two companies has been EXPOMIN 2023, a biannual fair that is now in its 17th edition. For a few days (from April 24 to 27 at Parque Fisa in Santiago de Chile) it has been the center of world mining. With this joint participation, bcb thermographic monitoring systems have been successfully promoted to contribute to innovation and increased productivity in mining processes and to present bcb solutions, such as bcbMonitor 4.0, bcbDieScan, bcbRotaryScan, bcbFireScan , the bcbCondition, the bcbElectrolyticIR, the bcbTestBench, and the bcb WeldIR.
