On March 11 in San Pedro Garza, bcb gave the Seminar on thermographic monitoring in the automotive industry.
This event brought together professionals from important companies in the automotive industry in Monterrey and its surroundings, such as Nemak, Ternium, Martinrea, Magna, among others. In addition, it had the important collaboration of Teledyne FLIR Latam with the presence of the automation director Ivo Belo.
The seminar began with the presentation of the principles of thermography, important factors when taking measurements and the main knowledge for its application. Subsequently, the possibilities offered by infrared thermography in automotive processes were addressed, such as: monitoring of molds and dies, testing of airbags, heated windows and lighting, as well as inspection in hotstamping processes. Almost to finish, the Teledyne FLIR thermal imaging cameras were known, as well as their functionalities and the new models that it has introduced to the market, in addition to the technological advances that Teledyne FLIR offers in this new range. Similarly, the presentation of our TOP solution platform in thermographic monitoring bcbMonitor 4.0 and its sub-products that bcb develops for the automotive market was made.
Lastly, real-time application demonstrations were carried out on the functionality of the Teledyne FLIR cameras integrated into the bcbMonitor 4.0 software. In this same section there was a great interaction of the attendees to see the behavior of thermography in different scenarios and how to obtain conclusions based on temperature data.
To close the seminar, bcb thermographic engineering held a raffle for a FLIR C3-X thermal imaging camera among the engineers attending the seminar.
