bcb shines at the Maintenance and Reliability Congress in Mexico with innovations in autonomous inspections

bcb participated in the recent Maintenance and Reliability Congress (CMC) in Mexico, held at the Pabellón M Exhibition Center in Monterrey. This event, co-financed by the ICEX Next program with support from ICEX and the European FEDER fund, highlighted the international commitment to technological innovation in the industrial sector.

Our CEO, Javier Bezares del Cueto, presented a lecture on “Autonomous Inspections of Energized Assets”, showcasing the implementation of autonomous systems for improving efficiency and safety in energy infrastructure management. Through the use of robots equipped with advanced sensors and AI algorithms, more precise and frequent monitoring can be achieved, reducing operational risks and costs associated with traditional maintenance.

Live demonstrations of FLIR thermographic cameras for electrical panel inspections were conducted at the event. These cameras can detect temperature differences indicating overheating or faults in electrical components, enabling preventive actions before major failures occur. Attendees witnessed how this technology enhances the reliability and safety of electrical systems while optimizing maintenance processes.

We also presented OFIL ultraviolet cameras, essential tools for detecting partial discharges in substations. These UV cameras allow the identification of electrical discharges invisible to the human eye, which may indicate deteriorated insulation or faulty connections. Early detection of these anomalies is crucial for preventing breakdowns, avoiding electrical service interruptions, and ensuring safety in high-voltage installations.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with industry professionals, exchange knowledge, and explore future collaborations. The positive reception of our solutions and technologies motivates us to continue innovating and contributing value to the industrial maintenance sector. We thank the organizers and all attendees for the enriching interactions and interest in our proposals.

At bcb, we remain committed to offering advanced technologies that contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the maintenance industry. We will continue working to provide efficient and sustainable solutions that meet the current and future needs of our clients.
