Last Wednesday, June 19, bcb had the honor of participating in the Heat Treatment Congress, sponsored by Metal Spain Magazine. This event provided a valuable opportunity to explore advancements in the steel sector and share our innovations in thermography applied to heat treatments.
During the conference, we visited various stands and had fruitful conversations with representatives from different companies specializing in heat treatments. These interactions allowed us to learn about the latest trends and needs of the sector, as well as share our expertise and solutions with other industry professionals.
One of the highlights of our participation was our presentation on how thermography can help the heat treatment industry improve process control. We demonstrated the benefits of thermography in various stages of heat treatment, such as tempering and induction austenitizing and air and water quenching. We explained how thermography enables precise calculations of temperatures, thermal profiles, and quench rates, and how this information is vital for engineers overseeing these processes.
Additionally, we addressed the application of thermography in the CQI-9 standard, particularly in the hot stamping process. We demonstrated how our technology can monitor the entire process, from the furnace, through the centering table and press, to the conveyor. Thanks to this application, we can provide process engineers with all the thermal information necessary to comply with this important automotive industry standard.
Our participation in the 2024 Heat Treatment Congress was an enriching experience that reaffirmed our commitment to innovation and the development of advanced solutions for the heat treatment industry. At bcb, we remain dedicated to offering cutting-edge technology that enables our clients to optimize their processes and maintain high-quality standards.
We thank Metal Spain for organizing this event and all the participants for the valuable conversations and interest in our solutions. We look forward to continuing to contribute to the industry’s advancement and strengthening our relationships with sector professionals.
