ecently bcb has successfully completed the system Project Humanitarian Demining (SIDE), held unthe auspices of CDTI ; and in collaboration with EXPAL Systems.
Currently there is no technology or method that is capable of locating mines or lieds remotely based in intrinsic properties of the engine itself. Unlike the demining process in the world has progressed, the technology used in the detection has not changed substantially.
The SIDE Project has validated measurement technology with infrared camera, for locating buried objects, namely mines and ammunition, using the detailed thermal transient caused by sun heating and subsequent cooling of the land surface analysis.
The results obtained, we believe, have been extremely interesting and have fully validated detection method used.
