Teledyne FLIR ratifies bcb as its Key Industrial Partner

The American firm confirmed bcb as its main integrator as well as distributor for the Automation line in Spain, Portugal and Mexico

bcb is pleased to announce that the world’s largest manufacturer of thermal imaging cameras, Teledyne FLIR, has renewed its designation as a Key Industrial Partner. And with it the commitment to continue being the main promoter of thermographic automation solutions for Industry and R&D applications, which are essentially made up of Teledyne FLIR fixed thermal imaging cameras and software developed by bcb.

After more than 15 years of experience in the integration of applications with infrared cameras, bcb received the appointment. Along with this distinction, they now present the renewal of their solutions portfolio with the bcbMonitor 4.0 software, an ecosystem that supports the other product families. Currently these customized solutions are in high demand and are offered to clients in the steel, energy, automotive and food sectors, mainly.

Precisely, less than two months ago, bcb launched a thermographic system dedicated to condition monitoring (predictive maintenance) of electrical, electronic, mechanical and thermal equipment called bcbCondition. Its arrival on the market meets the need to manage the continuous acquisition of temperature data without contact and the real-time processing of images from infrared cameras installed throughout the plants, as well as scheduling tasks, generating alarms and automating operations. This type of work precisely reinforces the activity as Key Industrial Partner, since they satisfy the needs of specialists in the maintenance of critical machinery and equipment..

“The launch was a complete success as acceptance was immediate. At bcb , we knew that this need was largely solved with our bcbMonitor 4.0, however, the new needs of our clients, related to virtualization, full integration of communications with PLC and SCADA systems, and local and cloud storage, have been integrated into bcbCondition. I believe this was the main reason for its early success”, commented Javier Bezares, CEO of bcb, who was also proud of his team of engineers behind the development of the new solution.

“We have developed several thermographic monitoring systems, with multiple applications in the Industry, for example: the bcbFireScan for the prevention and early detection of fires, the bcbDieScan for the continuous inspection of moulds, dies and tools, the bcbElectrolyticIR for the detection of short circuits between anodes and cathodes in the electrolytic production of zinc or copper, the bcbTestBench for test benches for the automotive sector, the bcbGasScan for visualizing leaks and gas emissions, among others”, added Juan Briñez, Commercial and Development Director of bcb business
