VIZTA aims to develop innovative technologies in the field of optical sensors and laser sources for short- to long-range 3D imaging and to demonstrate their value in several key applications including automotive, security, smart buildings, mobile robotics for smart cities and industry4. 0.

VIZTA brings together 23 partners from 9 different European countries and is coordinated by STMicroelectronics Crolles (near Grenoble, France). It was launched in May 2019 with a duration of 42 months (end date 10/31/2022) and is funded by € 21 million from the ECSEL Joint Undertaking (JU) under grant agreement # 826600.

In the VIZTA project, bcb will apply its experience in the development of algorithms for a 3D multicamera machine vision system for Industry 4.0 (based on the use of the short-range 3D image sensors developed in the project) that will later be demonstrated in automated optics. inspection use case.
